LIVE EACH DAY...
Live each day to the fullest.
Get the most from each hour, each day,
and each age of your life.
Then you can look forward with confidence,
and back without regrets.
Be yourself--but be your best self.
Dare to be different and to follow your own star.
And don't be afraid to be happy.
Enjoy what is beautiful.
Love with all your heart and soul.
Believe that those you love, love you.
Learn to forgive yourself for your faults,
for this is the first step
in learning to forgive others.
Listen to those whom the world
may consider uninteresting, for each person has,
in himself, something of worth.
Disregard what the world owes you,
and concentrate on what you owe the world.
Forget what you have done for your friends,
and remember what they have done for you.
No matter how troublesome the cares of life
may seem to you at times,
this is still a beautiful world...
and you are at home in it,
as a child is at home in his father's house.
When you are faced with a decision,
make that decision as wisely as possible--
then forget it!
The moment of absolute certainty
never arrives.
Above all, remember that God helps those
who help themselves.
Act as if everything depended upon you,

and pray as if everything depended upon God.

News From Down South

We have had a couple of fun things going on down in Pine Valley first and most exciting is we are expecting another little cowBOY to enter our family September 6th!  We had our first ultra sound and were relieved to find that the baby is growing healthy and strong!  We feel so blessed and happy!

The second fun thing is that Matt and I where able to go to Washington D.C. for a week with about 30 other couples from all over Utah as part of the Utah Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers.  The Farm Bureau is a lobbying agency for agriculture.  We felt so blessed to see our nations capital and see all of the amazing history there.  We also were able to meet with our Utah Senators and talk with them about issues we were concerned about.  Sorry Grandpa but we didn't get to see the President to pass on your advice,  he may have been hiding out when he heard a bunch of Utah Farmers and Ranchers where coming to town!  We were a little out of place in the big city with our cowboy hats and wranglers there was more than a couple stares and everyone wanted to know if we were from Texas.  We had to inform them that Texas isn't the only place a cowboy lives!

We are on our way to tour the Capital.  Behind us is a replica of Lady Freedom she stands on the top of the capital.  We toured the capital the day Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to congress.  There was a lot of excitement and security because of this.

This was George Washington's pew at the Church of Christ.  He had to pay a yearly rent to keep this pew, he must have paid good because it still has his name on it:)

Mount Vernon, George Washington's plantation his home is in the background.

Ford's Theatre where President Lincoln was assassinated.

The tomb of the unknown solider at Arlington.  We were able to see the changing of the guard and our group was able to put a new wreath out.

Gail Knight and Linda Nelson

Gail Knight and Linda Nelson

The following picture of cousins, Gail Knight and Linda Nelson, was taken in 1966,  when they were two beautiful little girls.  I am not sure where the picture was taken.  If you know, please let me know.

They love to get together still.  I believe Linda and Gail had a "get together" in Salt lake City Friday March  13, 2015.   Gail is now 54 and Linda is 53 years old. Gail was born July 7, 1961.  Linda was born August 7, 1962.  When they get together, they have many memories to recall and things to share.

Sam & Chyann Venable

Chyann will be turning 26 on March 29th.  She is a hard working stay-at-home mom who loves her two kids more than anything (and her husband).  Chyann's favorite thing to do is drink Diet Coke and read the Knight Reflectors.

Last week Sam had hernia surgery.  Chyann really enjoys nursing Sam back to health... except she doesn't.
